Camagüey buscará ratificarse en la cima del Playa Girón de Boxeo

Foto: Cadenagramonte.Foto: Cadenagramonte.Camagüey, 12 dic.- La provincia de Camagüey iniciará este martes en Sancti Spíritus la defensa de su título, correspondiente al Torneo Nacional de Boxeo Playa Girón, certamen ganado por los agramontinos en las últimas seis ediciones.

Encabezada por los campeones mundiales Julio César La Cruz y Johanys Argilagos, la escuadra camagüeyana tendrá como principales oponentes a las selecciones de La Habana, Matanzas, Guantánamo y Pinar del Río.

En el Playa Girón, que comenzará hoy en la sala Yara de la capital espirituana, La Cruz competirá en los 91 kilogramos, mientras que Argilagos buscará ratificarse como el rey del patio en los 49 kilos.

Para cumplir el objetivo de ceñirse la corona, mucho dependerá también el aporte de hombres como el ligero welter Kevin Bronw, el mosca Reicel Moncada, el welter Yoenly Feliciano Hernández y el mediano Yainier Areu. (Cadenagramonte)
