Bridgetown, Jun 12.- Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rogelio Sierra concluded his working visit to Barbados, of which he is very optimistic about the future of diplomatic relations between both countries.
Havana, Jun 12.- The Communist Party of Cuba’s first secretary, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, addressed members of the Central Committee Secretariat; first secretaries of municipal and provincial committees; other auxiliary functionaries; and representatives of mass organizations and the Young Communists League, at the conclusion of a three-day meeting held at the Party’s Ñico López cadre school, in Havana.
Havana, Jun 12.- The National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, was appointed a member of the New York Writers Hall of Fame (Hall of Fame of writers from New York), in recognition of his work as a poet, essayist, journalist and politician.
