Cuba and New Zealand for boosting their relations

Chancellor of New Zealand met with Cuban authorities./Photo: Radio relojHavana, Cuba.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, and his New Zealand counterpart, Gerry Brownlee, were interested in promoting bilateral relations in the political and economic fields.
On receiving Brownlee on Tuesday at the Chancellery headquarters, Rodríguez Parrilla highlighted the importance that Havana attaches to ties with the southern country, based on respect and trust, as well as the coincidence in international aspects.
The Cuban foreign minister mentioned the positive links in the agricultural, livestock, educational, cultural, biopharmaceutical and academic-scientific spheres, with projects for mutual benefit and other Pacific states.
The New Zealand diplomat affirmed that his country recognizes Cuba's leadership on a regional and global level, and was interested in strengthening cooperation in the agricultural sphere, and in the people-to-people contact. (Radioreloj)
