Social justice and sustainable human development is the motto of this meeting, considered vital by its organizers for the exchange with all sectors of society to build the internet that we Cubans need.

We need to build our own vision of the Internet in Cuba and that everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute and even innovate, said the first vice president of the Cuban Computer Union María Esther Alfonso, who sponsors the event.

Based in the Havana Palace of Conventions, the forum was preceded by similar events in the different provinces.

It is also part of the government's efforts to carry out the company's computerization program. (PL)
