The pronouncement of the Cuban Foreign Relations Holder takes place after the US government placed on its unilateral list of entities sanctioned by links with Venezuela to the Cubametales company due to the continued importation of oil from the South American country.
The United States has no right to impose unilateral measures on Cuban entities or on any country that trades with Venezuela. It is a violation of International Law, of the rules that govern trade and an attack on the relations between sovereign States, he wrote in his account @BrunoRguezP.
According to the US Department of the Treasury, the largest of the Antilles, in exchange for that oil, continues to provide support, including defense, intelligence and security assistance, to the administration of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
The issue of Cuba's support for Venezuela has been used by Washington on several occasions to justify new measures against the island.
Faced with this interventionist attitude, Havana has reiterated that its solidarity with Caracas is not negotiable. (Cadenagramonte)
