Photo: RHCHavana, September 17.- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel received Estela Barnes de Carlotto, president of the association of Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, who is visiting the island invited by the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC).
The meeting was attended by Daniel Ricci, general secretary of the Argentinean Federation of University Teachers; Juan Carlos Barroso, of the Staff Association of the University of Buenos Aires; and Claudia Susana Carlotto, daughter of the Argentine activist,
Also attending the meeting were Teresa Amarelle Boué, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and secretary general of the FMC; and Yanira Kuper Herrera, member of the women's federation's national secretariat. (RHC)
