Natural and Traditional Medicine at Calixto 2018 Convention in Cuba

Photo: CadenagramonteHavana, Jan 23.- The Natural and Traditional Medicine (MNT) is one of the issues to be debated today by delegates and guests from more than 15 countries who are participating until tomorrow at the International Convention, Calixto 2018, in this capital.
According to the agenda, the event will be favorable to reflect on the Cuban MNT Program, as well as about herbal medicine on the island, ozone therapy in hypoventilated patients and the application of Curcuma longa capsules in people with high cholesterol levels.
The convention will also allow to exchange on issues such as people with neuron-trauma, behavior of Helicobacter pylori infection in the elderly patients and nursing procedures in seizures in acute stroke.
Participants also have a reserved space to deeply analyze tonsil cancer and the results of the radiotherapy on the laryngeal oncological lesion.
The Calixto 2018 also includes issues such as chronic diseases and metabolism, head and neck surgery, spine and limbs, infectious diseases, medical teaching, nursing and aging, among others.
Prior to the event, some preconvention courses were given covering issues such as Anticoagulation in patient with a heart condition, Anterior segment traumatic eye, News and challenges of breast cancer, Ozone therapy and Pathological anatomy, among others. (Cadenagramonte)
