Camagüey´s Cinephiles celebrate the 70 years of the Casablanca

Photo: ArchiveCamagüey, Jan 31.- As part of the programming of the Week of Culture by the 504 anniversary of the founding of the town of Santa Maria del Puerto del Príncipe, today Camagüey, will celebrate here the seven decades of the film Casablanca, in the historical center of the city.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the Provincial Center of cinema puts at the disposal of the public special proposals from 1st to February 4, with a stage on the theme of the film, located in the historic center of the capital of Camagüey included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The program will begin tomorrow, Thursday, at 5:00 in the afternoon, with the Cyber-gathering that directs the researcher and critic in Camagüey Juan Antonio García Borrero; in that space of discussion will talk about the early years of the seventh art and how they have changed with the passage of time.
Roberto González Díaz, specialist of the Department of Programming of the cultural institution, announced that during the entire month of February will return to the big screen movies that most successful box office had in that room, among which he mentioned: The Black Tulip, La vida sigue igual, La bella del Alhambra; Zafiros, Blue madness, and Hard to kill.
