Betto argued that without the people there is no liberation, and that is why the Government of the United States not to attack Cuba, because she knows that it is very easy to put down a Government, but never to a people.

The author of the work of the artist: a holistic vision of the universe, said that if the revolution is not within each Cuban and Cuban, if it is a fact of love, a passion, if it is not something that love in spite of the difficulties, not going forward.

On Hart, President of the Sociedad Cultural José Martí until his death, with whom he acknowledged to have an intimate friendship and fraternal, expressed that he was very spiritualized, and that he had a vision of the importance of spirituality in the revolutionary processes such as that of Cuba.

He described the enthusiasm shown by Hart to participate in the interview that will be the leader of the Cuban Revolution, from which the book Fidel and the religion, he said, was like the first time in the world that a communist leader spoke positively of the religion.

The Dominican friar recalled the countless meetings he had with the former Minister of Culture, and the programs that, between the World Council José Martí of Solidarity, which promotes the creation of Marti´s chairs in universities around the world to disclose and generalize the work of the Apostle.

Frei Betto, with 11 books published in this country and a long history of friendship with Cuba and its revolutionary process, participates in the 27th International Book Fair in Havana, which comes with texts such as the novel hallucinated sound of tuba and the memories of what life has taught me.
