Cuban Experts Identified 58 Fatal Victims of Plane Crash

Foto: CadenagramonteHavana, May 23.- So far, Cuban experts have identified 58 fatal victims of the air accident occurred on May 18, today reported the director of the Institute of Legal Medicine, Sergio Rabell.
According to statements made by Rabell to journalists, of the 11 foreigners who were on board the Boeing 737-200, the identity of 10 was clarified and only one member of the crew needs to be identified.
He also thanked the solidarity of specialists who do not work in the process of recognition of the fatal victims and even so they have volunteered to collaborate when it is needed.
On Friday, the plane of the Mexican company Damojh, leased by Cubana de Aviacion, rushed into the vicinity of Jose Marti International Airport in Havana with 113 people on board, 102 Cubans and 11 foreigners.
Of the tragedy, only three women -all Cubans- survived, but one of them, 23-year-old Gretell Landrove, died on Monday, bringing the total number of deaths to 111.
Meanwhile, Mailen Diaz (19 years old) and Emiley Sanchez (39) remain in extreme critical condition at the Calixto Garcia Hospital in Havana. (Cadenagramonte)
