Plane Crash Survivor Dies in Cuba

Photo: PLHavana, May 25.- Patient Emiley Sanchez de la O, one of the three survivors of the air disaster last Friday in Cuba, died today in this capital, the Ministry of Public Health reported.
According to an information note, Sanchez, aged 40, died as a result of severe traumatic injuries and burns suffered in the accident of May 18, when a Boeing 737-200 leased by Cubana de Aviación crashed with 113 people on board, of which only one remains alive.
Gretel Landrove, 23, had died on Monday.
According to health authorities, the third survivor - all Cubans - Mailen Díaz, 19, continues in extremely critical condition. (PL)
