Receives university professor in Camagüey greeting postcard sent by Díaz-Canel

Yailé Caballero Mota, Director of International Relations of the University of Camagüey ( UC) Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz.

The young profesor, titular member of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and Prize TWAS 2017, that grants the Academy of Sciences of Developing Countries to new scientists, participates since the year 2000 in multiple projects and investigations related to the new Technologies of the Informatics and the Communications, from the house of high studies agramontina.

"This recognition represents for me a greater commitment as a teacher, mother and researcher. It requires me to contribute more to the education of my children and students, to promote internationalization, since my research, and those I direct, increase its impact on the substitution of imports, on the export of services and products, and on the socioeconomic development of Cuba, "said Caballero Mota.

For her, Diaz-Canel's gesture also awakens her pride, because it is, in the long run, a prize for the University of Camagüey and an encouragement for her faculty and research groups.

"It was a great surprise also to see how a simple postcard from a simple university professor was sent to her, dedicated by the President of the country; an attitude that has always characterized the leaders of the Cuban Revolution, and which, without doubt, all political leaders should practice "; sentenced.

"Diaz-Canel is a simple man, concerned for the people, for the people who from different spheres and levels contribute their grain of sand in favor of society," he added.

Dr. C Yailé Caballero Mota deserves four awards from the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and from the Nationals to Young Researcher, in the Technical Sciences Category, and Pablo Miquel, awarded by the Cuban Society of Mathematics and Computing. It also exhibits the Carlos J. Finlay Order, which is conferred by the Council of State, and a dozen provincial prizes from the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment. (Cadenagramonte)
