This step was preceded by an internal audit that was developed by the municipal and provincial electoral commissions, in order to review ballots, models and brochures. At province and nation level, significant samples are chosen, in which it is recommended to include as many municipalities as possible, explained Martha Rodríguez Martínez, president of the CEP of Las Tunas.
As one of the priorities of the process, there is the verification of the work of the groups of reception, review and computation of the information, to measure its quality and the effectiveness of those structures.
It also reviews brochures of schools and districts, to determine the existing correspondence between what was collected there, with the data entered into the system, the lists of voters, the inclusion models and the number of voters who exercised their right to vote.
This audit allows to ratify the transparency of the referendum held on February 24, in which the majority of the voters approved the new Cuban Constitution, as well as to elaborate indications and recommendations on which the electoral commissions of the province and municipalities should work, with to next processes.
