Photo: Radio rebeldeHolguín, March 29.- Promoting the tradition and identity of the people is the main objective of the theoretical event Memoria Nuestra, inserted in the International Festival of Artistic Youth Romerías de Mayo, which will take place in Holguín, from 2 to 8 of that month.

During these days the oriental city will become the Young Art Capital, as the venue for the Festival organized by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in which new creators from different regions of the world converge.

The master's degree in science Yanelis Martinez, organizer of Memoria Nuestra and member of the executive of the AHS in the eastern city, told the Cuban News Agency that the thematic lines of the Meeting of Young Researchers will be related to the general idea of the Romerías.
In this sense, the debates will focus on the cultural formation of nations through the presentation of socio-cultural projects aimed at increasing artistic creation.

It also meant that in previous calls has been remarkable foreign participation and hope to achieve that prominence in the 26th edition of the Youth Art Festival in Cuba next May.

The jury of Memoria Nuestra will be made up of prestigious professors from the University of Holguin, who will award the Best Research Award, which consists of a diploma and incentive in cash, Martinez said.

Romerías de Mayo is one of the main cultural events of the so-called Cuban city of parks, in which the most autochthonous of each region of the world converges, especially young artists and cultural promoters. (Radio rebelde)
