French Film Festival from April 17 to 28

Photo: Radio rebeldePhoto: Radio rebeldeHavana, April 4.- From the 17 to 27 of this month we will have the 22nd edition of the French Film Festival in Cuba, with a good load of films and the pleasant presence of its founders: Christophe Barratier and Nouredine Issadi, accompanied as always by personalities of that cinematography, who come to us with their works, which will be seen in the cinemas Yara, Acapulco, Charles Chaplin, the Multicine Infanta and the Riviera.

The offers of Project 23 of the ICAIC do not end. Before the daily days attending the French Film Festival we can admire a recent film by the respected director Roman Polanski. This one is titled "Based on real events", and he keeps in his cast names such as Emmanuelle Signier, Eva Green and Vincent Pérez, integrated into an exquisite thriller, where a novelist who cannot find the way forward, discovers the young singular who seems to understand her , and becomes his confidant.

But things are not so simple. We will find out from April 10 to 14 at Yara cinemas, Charles Chaplin, Multicine Infanta and Acapulco.

The Cine Club Diferente has reserved its space in the Multicine Infanta on Wednesday, the 13th of this month, at 7 pm, to present the film "El repostero de Berlin" (2017).

In 104 minutes Ofir Raul Graizer tells how a pastry chef from Berlin travels to Jerusalem when he learns about the death of an Israeli engineer, whom he barely knows, and is used as a coffee maker in a café without revealing his skills, until one day.
