The Ninth Round of Migratory Conversations Cuba-Ecuador takes place in Havana

Photo: ACNHavana, May 14.- The Ninth Round of Migratory Talks between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Ecuador is held in Havana on May 13 and 14, 2019.
A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba states that the meeting is an auspicious occasion to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation in the area of migration, in order to guarantee a regular, orderly and secure migratory flow between both countries, as well as to make it more effective the fight against irregular migration and the fight against the illegal traffic of migrants, trafficking in persons and other related crimes.
The Cuban delegation to the meeting will be chaired by Ana Teresita González Fraga, vice minister of Foreign Affairs, while Santiago Chávez, vice minister of Human Mobility, will preside over that of the Andean country. (ACN)
