Responsible for the prevalence of discipline and good treatment for passengers who will board the new car-engines acquired in the People's Republic of China (PRC) and which are already in the country, the UFC official stressed at the inauguration today in Guantánamo a preparation course for a dozen young people who are trained to perform this important task.
The study program began with a conference on good practices and ethics in the railroad, an important means of transportation in which the country has executed a million dollar investment, evidenced by the arrival in the Cuban capital of the first 80 car-engines from the People's Republic of China (PRC), which will serve this summer and are part of a lot of more than 200 contracted to that nation.
The training includes 80 hours of class, also covers ferromozas in exercise and is an initiative of the UFC that is also applied in the provinces of Havana and Santiago de Cuba, and in this extreme eastern territory is responsible for the Railway Training Center Julio Chedeviaux Tecla, a base business unit of the railroad delegation of Guantánamo.
Jiménez Hechavarría stressed the importance of making the most of the classes, seminars and workshops because ferromozas are the visible face of the railway.
He clarified that it also depends on good treatment of passengers and discipline, the care of these new cars, which are the first "zero kilometer" that Cuba has acquired abroad for almost half a century and were designed by Cuban engineers and of the RPCH, and manufactured by the company Tangshan.
In the syllabus, technical aspects are included on these 25-G model media, which in first class have air conditioning, internal television circuit and reclining and rotating seats, and in second class, they were equipped with windows, fans, and the same type of seats.
Others will be engaged in services, including cafeteria and restroom services, and the generation of electricity. (ACN)
