Managua, June 19. - Title III of the Helms Burton Law infringes on the human rights of Cubans, is immoral and disastrous, affirmed today the Nicaraguan evangelical pastor Sixto Ulloa.

This position goes beyond words, he said, as a church and Nicaraguans we have made public our position against the blockade and against the United States government for its policies against the sovereign decision of Cubans to choose under what political system they want to live. .
Ulloa recalled that on several occasions they have sent letters and other documents to the US authorities demanding the end of the blockade, a policy intensified by the current president of that country, Donald Trump, whom he described as "amateur to be president" and author of "stupidities" policies that attempt against human rights. "We as Christians stand firm in a position of accompaniment and solidarity with the Cuban people," reiterated the Special Procurator for Citizen Participation.
