Benefit in the Cubiteño territory the coexistence of man with nature

Photo: ArchivoSierra de Cubitas, Aug 8.- The Cubiteño territory treasures the beautiful Limones Tuabaquey Ecological Reserve, of the National System of Protected Areas. In this place, rich in diversity of species inhabit about 600 species of plants, also having a fascinating fauna and highlighted by its more than 70 species.
Various are the steps taken by the State Forest Service department of the Cubiteño municipality in order to protect and conserve this important area of the territory.
The results obtained are sample of more than a decade of actions aimed at preserving nature. Efforts include involving nearby communities in environmental education activities, because the greatest aggressions to the ecosystem come from there.
Currently, two community projects are implemented: Dawn, aimed at adults and Free Wings, designed for children in the area, which seeks to influence the traditions of the inhabitants to make them coexisting with nature.
