Sierra de Cubitas, 11 nov.– The beauty and splendor of the trees in these red lands north of the province of Camagüey were snatched away by the relentless fury of Hurricane Irma exactly two months and three days ago.
Again and again we all ask the same question, when will the flowers return to adorn the gardens? The answer seemed impossible, but it is precisely in these circumstances that the power of nature is recognized, sometimes furious and sometimes kindly.
The rain as if it were an accomplice of it came again and again peaceful to leave on the plants the magic that forces them to grow healthy and vigorous, as I perceive them in my own garden of which I show some species.
I would say that by way of consolation or solidarity, he did it to repair the damage and brought the laborious bees as prodigious creatures to transfer the nectar from one place to another and water the aroma of each species.
It is a well-paid debt, because now every morning a new flower appears to leave the necessary beauty and decorate the path of those who willingly recover by putting each action hands and heart.
