Sierra de Cubitas, November  27th.- More than 12,000 voters went to the polls in Sierra de Cubitas as part of the elections that took place on Sunday, November 26th, 2017  in true demonstration of genuine participatory democracy.

According to preliminary information from the Municipal Electoral Commission, 89.67% of the Cuban population demonstrated their support for the continuity of Socialism and fidelity to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz to whom the memorable day was dedicated.

At the 40 Voting Colleges, authorities composed mostly of young people developed a decisive role in the orientation of the voters on the steps they should follow in order to achieve the quality and effectiveness of the vote .

Edy Margarita La Rosa, president of the Electoral Commission in Sierra de Cubitas, said that voting  act made evidence  the support for the Constitution and the socialist legality inspired by the Revolution Concept and the ideas of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.
