Women’s overall contribution well recognized in Sierra de Cubitas

Women involved in Cuban Revolution´s tasks.Sierra de Cubitas, november 29th.- The greatest achievement of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in Sierra de Cubitas, as the whole country, is the high degree of its members´ participation at society activities, because they knew how to interpret the postulates of equality and also they conquered the right to be fully satisfied.
Women´s exchange in each of her delegations is the most effective method to face the different tasks of the Cuban Revolution at present, besides bringing the organization closer to the youngest ones at their houses, those who see as natural the rights conquered by their mothers and grandmothers.
Among the responsibilities women are immersed nowadays, it can be noticed the need to accompany the school in the educational duty of children and teenagers; and also, in the progress of the current process of Cuban elections of the People’s Power 2017-2018 and in the recuperative stage after the damages of Hurricane Irma almost three months ago.
It´s worth it to recognize the role and history of the struggles of the Cuban women, heirs to a tradition that transcends from the Camaguey patriots to those of today in the communities of the territory such as La Gloria, Puerto Piloto, La Filial and many others, where women like Juana del Risco do their best to keep the Cuban Revolution conquests alive.

It is also significant women´s performance in terms of leadership and employment in different branches of the home economy and services, which represent a significant percent of the people employed in the State sector and self-employment.
As well, a lot of women from Sierra de Cubitas lend their collaboration services in Education, Health and Sport in many different countries around the world fulfilling the legacy of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, who assured on August 23, 1960: "The Cuban Revolution has (…) in the feminine sector of our population, a very great endorsement.
