About to finish recovery of House of Culture in Sierra de Cubitas

Kennis Ortigas director de la Casa de Cultura.Sierra de Cubitas, Nov 30th.- The continued efforts of workers from Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS) May 17 from Minas municipality and the young artists´ support at Sierra de Cubitas House of Culture facilitate the final actions of its reconstruction seriously affected by Hurricane Irma almost three months ago.
"We are all engaged in concluding the painting of the classrooms and exteriors which is what remains to be completed before December 3, so that Health workers can perform their provincial act for Latin American Medicine Day because of the labor they have properly done in medical services", explained Diana Pérez Calderón, municipal director of Culture.
On his part, Kenni Ortigas, director of the cultural institution, added: "our commitment is to complete the repair at first days of December. Despite the work that is undertaken here, the activities have not stopped being done, but we want to greet the Day of the worker of Culture on December 14 and the 59th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution with our House completely renovated. "
Also, the young art instructors pronounced themselves to change their musical instruments by the brushes to achieve a wonderful finish.
The reconstruction of the House of Culture is one of the most tangible examples of the recovery process in Sierra de Cubitas, which has been possible with the hands and heart.
