Photo: AutoraSierra de Cubitas, December 3. - A runoff vote is held in Sierra de Cubitas on this December 3rd in those districts in which the candidates did not reach more than half of the valid votes counted.
Onorinda Rodríguez, secretary of the Municipal Electoral Commission, declared that
polling stations of six, eight and nine districts of Sola and 31 of the Comunidad Cubitas are ready to open their doors from 7 o'clock in the morning until 6pm on this Sunday, December 3rd.
She added that on this occasion a similar percentage of attendance by the voters to the exercise of suffrage is expected.
Likewise, she explained that they will be elected as delegates to the Municipal Assembly of People's Power who reach more votes, and in case of a tie, a third round will be held on December 10, as established in the Electoral law.
