Sierra de Cubitas’ women stay involved in recovery activities

Sierra de Cubitas, December 5.– The Federation of Cuban Women in Sierra de Cubitas supports the recovery efforts through many initiatives in regards to the new anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Activities programme includes visits to families affected by Cyclone Irma as part of the orientation work based on the neighborhood’s concerns, as well as the educational talks to adopt different sanitary measures and epidemiological control.
Females in this northern territory have been a crucial aid in the current stage from their prominence in neighborhoods and in the decision-making practice within the family; a task that also requires their perseverance in order to advance during the repairing actions undertaken in everywhere a house or a social institution was damaged.
More than seven thousand females making up the Federation of Cuban Women in Sierra de Cubitas strengthen their work as part of the support to the family in these intense working days and the social contribution in New Year’s festivities.
