Cultural main authorities.

Sierra de Cubiutas, Dec 9.- A qualitative assessment about the work developed Sierra de Cubitas linked to cultural matters during the year 2017 was carried out by the artists and young people of this sector accompanied by political and government authorities in the municipality and other leaders of the province of Camagüey.

At the meeting they highlighted the role played by the art instructors in the communities affected by Hurricane Irma, the awards obtained at differents events, the wide participation in schools and neighborhoods, as well as their insertion in socio-community projects that took place throughout the year that is about to finish.

Awared culture workers

Likewise, many workers of the sector were given awards to recognize their performance while working hard to please the inhabitants of this northern territory in the different cultural institutions.

María Julia González, Assistant Director of Artistic Teaching, made emphasis on the importance for the country to continue the cultural work with children highlighting the rescue of traditions and the transmission of values due to the significance it represents for the continuity of the Cuban Revolution work.

Concentraed on deficiencies, achievements and projections for 2018, the workers of the Culture in Sierra de Cubitas pronounced themselves to continue strengthening the art in each community inspired by Fidel's ideas about the neccessity of the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement as sword and shield of the Cuban nation.
