Radio and the Municipal Government directors.
Sierra de Cubitas, Dec 16. - Journalists, artists and the rest of the workers and superiors of Radio Cubitas gathered together to freely interchange about ideas and information for a greater performance in the daily work of bringing a quality radio product to the listeners and to continue Fidel's ideas about the media.
At the meeting, what was done during 2017 in the communities was acknowledged as well as the radial coverage to the recovery process after the Hurricane Irma, likewise, the journalists ´outstanding work in the social networks and through the Spanish and English websites recently created.
They both, Roberto Bruce Trujillo, programming specialist for Cuban Radio and Lorenzo Villaurrutia, program director of Radio Rebelde, advocated the creators of this community to continue working in front of the challenges of continuous development of Information and Communication Technologies and to strengthen their professional readiness especially of young people for the importance it represents for the local radio station.
During the meeting, the workers who performed adequately in each of their radial specialties in the current year were honored and the main objectives of work for the coming period were outlined from a more contemporary perspective in the matter of content management.
