Sierra de Cubitas, 11 March. – Voters of the municipality of Sierra de Cubitas come to the polling stations early this March 11 to elect the delegates to the Provincial Assembly of People's Power and deputies to the Cuban Parliament as a demonstration of the society´s self-governance reality.
The expression of democracy, voluntary and mass participation when deciding on the leaders of the people can be valued during this historical process.
Likewise, it gives everyone the opportunity to be protagonists in such an important event for the Cuban Revolution at a time when the enemy is betting a lot of money to overthrow the glory that Cubans have lived for more than 50 years, what has also inspired thousands of people worldwide to achieve their sovereignty and independence.

Schoolboys and youths from this northern territory have been present during the nomination of candidates and continue this Sunday from the opening of the polling station until the end of the elections at 6 o'clock in the afternoon, something that distinguishes the Cuban electoral system from others in the world.
Unquestionably, new generations feel an active part in this demonstration of independence, who at the same time give their contribution to the quality of the elections and guarantee the electoral system works properly thanks to their modest contribution and adherence to the law as guided and taught by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
