Sierra de Cubitas, Feb. 24.- A historic day the Cubans live from 124 years after the beginning of the War of Independence and 150 years after the proclamation of the first of our Constitutions, which in Guaimaro, in April of 1869, established the Republic in arms.
In this context more than 13 thousand voters in the north of Camagüey will go to the polls to defend through the vote the new proposal of the Magna Carta that ensures the guarantee of the basic rights of a nation decided 60 years ago to be free and independent.
In the elections of this Sunday 24, 43 pre-university students from the Orlando Ramirez school of the Cubitas Community will serve as collaborators, in addition to 7 supervisors who will ensure compliance with the legislation in the Elctoral Law approved by the National Assembly of People's Power in 1992.
