Sierra de Cubitas, 19 Mar- To have more than 12 thousand voters in the exercise of the vote, during the day of the Constitutional Referendum on February 24, constitute aspects that stand out in the summary report of the Municipal Electoral Commission in Sierra de Cubitas, a day that was attended by political and governmental authorities in the territory.
Onorinda Rodríguez Riveiro, Secretary of the Municipal Electoral Commission, highlighted the outstanding presence of the seven supervisors aimed at strict compliance with the provisions of the Electoral Law characterized by transparency, impartiality and professionalism, according to the rules and ethical principles that were formed for them.
The attendance of the voters to the polls, the quality of the vote, the dissemination and promotion, the work of the collaborators in all the moments indicated, the training of the electoral authorities and the communication are also among the main evaluated aspects of positives.
At the proposal of the authorities that participated at the constituency level at the polling stations and the guests present on the balance sheet, agreements related to the improvement of this important task were envisaged in future processes.
There was no lack of recognition to those who stood out with responsibility, discipline and total adherence to the law, in the work of channeling this democratic process of the people where the Yes prevailed over the historical continuity of a Cuba of the present times. (Photos: Author)
