Photo: AuthorSierra de Cubitas.- The call for efficiency in each line of the economy is a permanent entity in our country as something imperishable for development, but; Have we thought if each of us contribute to it?

To start we must be aware of the historical moment we are living in where Cuba faces the resurgence of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for 57 years, adding to this the new attempt to apply Title III of the Helms-Burton Act and the damages that this causes to the economy.

 One of the achievements of the Cuban Revolution is the elimination of unemployment; considerable resources have been used in the preparation of qualified personnel capable of facing the growing development of the industry and the challenges in the search for new ways of solutions.

Everyday life takes us every day to a place where we spend eight hours working, precious time that, taking advantage of it, leads us to fulfill each of our functions properly and that is efficiency.

 From very young we listened to and even studied on several occasions the values of responsibility and industriousness, perhaps at that time we have seen it as something fundamental to incorporate into our actions, but only when we began our professional life did we realize its importance as a social responsibility.

We intend to achieve a developed Cuba, salary increases and with it the increase of the standard of living, but it is important to know that to obtain those benefits each one of us is a key piece from our job, combining industry, discipline and responsibility in the achievement of a greater efficiency.
