Speaking at the session on Saturday, the host chief, Nicolás Maduro, said that his country, which concludes its mandate in the pro tempore presidency of the organization, had "three years of intense battle for the great causes of humanity", especially those related to "vital issues such as climate change, the defense of the right of our peoples to self-determination and the construction of a new pluripolar world".

The 120 delegations meeting in Caracas coincided in qualifying EE.
