Photo: RHCWashington, Aug. 2 - The president of the United States, Donald Trump, admitted that he does not rule out the option to continue with the blockade or put Venezuela in "quarantine".
After being consulted by journalists in the White House, seat of the Government, the ruler indicated that he considered the possibility of ordering that measure.
The journalists asked him if "he considers a blockade or quarantine in Venezuela?” To which Trump replied with "yes, I consider it."
This American attack would add to the attempt of isolation, illegal and unitary financial sanctions, and the blockade that the US has already imposed against the South American nation, says Telesur.
The statements of the Executive arise on the same day that the authorities of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) denounced that another US plane made a new violation of its airspace. As stated by the Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), this new provocation is number 97, only so far in 2019.
The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Diosdado Cabello, demanded that Trump leave Venezuela alone.
Through his Twitter account, the official said that "the mafias of the opposition leadership are after the loot that Venezuela means to them"
However, he stressed that patriots do not sell and defend the country's sovereignty. (RHC)
