Gaza, Dec 18.- Israeli Air Force units attacked alleged facilities of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip today, but no casualties were reported.
According to the spokesman for Israel's Defense Forces, planes attacked a 'military complex of the terrorist organization', as Israel describes Hamas, hitting six different buildings and infrastructures inside it.
On the other hand, Palestinian sources confirmed that several sites near the city of Beit Lahia and in the areas of Al-Sudaniya and Al Waha, in the northwest of the Strip, were also attacked by Israeli planes.
According to the Israeli source, the bombing was carried out in response to the launch of two rockets from Gaza to the Israeli territory yesterday night.
One of the missiles exploded in the courtyard of a residential building in the regional council of Hof Ashkelon, in southern Israel, while the other one hit a nearby uninhabited area.
Apparently, this time the Israeli short-range anti-missile system, Iron Dome, did not respond as planned.
