Photo: PLCaracas, March 11.- The Government of Venezuela has determined the suspension of classes and work activities for today due to the restoration of the national energy system.
The interruption of these activities responds to the redoubling of efforts since Thursday to fully return the energy flow after several sabotages against electric service that affected 18 states and more than 70 percent of the territory.
In this regard, the vice president of Communication, Culture and Tourism of the nation, Jorge Rodríguez, said that the measure led by President Nicolás Maduro seeks to stop the attacks.
"This brutal terrorist attack we are fighting, the president at the head of all the processes involved, we will ensure that all the people of Venezuela recover their tranquility affected by this criminal and selfish action," he denounced.
Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión, Rodríguez insisted that the sabotage of the El Guri plant had political ends for the Venezuelan far right and its owners.
'While these factors of hatred, death and violence are gloating and again showing false news to insist on their plans of destabilization, the head of state has ordered a deployment of his entire body of ministers, deputy ministers, directors of institutes and hospitals for that there is a permanent attention and a display of attention to all the people, "he added.
