Photo: RHCAtlanta, Mar 15.- On August 4 of last year, a drone attack was perpetrated against Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Immediately after, the opposition Juan Guaidó and his US allies, such as John Bolton, assured that it was "a montage". Today CNN uncovers the reality.
Six months later CNN publishes a video with the interview of a man who would have organized the attack against the president and exclusive images of the preparations for the attack, explosives and drone practices in Colombian plains.
"That was the risk we had to assume," the man, who remains anonymous, responds to the possibility of a massacre at the commemoration ceremony of the Bolivarian National Guard.
The videos show the drones flying so high not to be seen and so fast to hit the target. As a test before the cameras, they detonated one of the devices.
The attack against the Venezuelan president was made by drones with explosives, which detonated outside the perimeter of attack. However, seven officers were injured.
Despite the evidence of the assassination attempt, the international media sought to ridicule the attack by means of language with qualifiers such as "presumed", "supposed", "confusing event" and "alleged drones". (RHC)
