Photo: PLCaracas, Mar 15.- Venezuela continues today the recovery of normalcy in its territory after the sabotage of the National Electric System that on March 7 left 18 states of the country without service.
In this regard, the Minister of Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, said Thursday that the first working day after the incident was developed calmly in the nation.
'We continue working on the recovery of drinking water. All the treatment plants are in operation and gradually the liquid has been delivered to all the sectors; We do not have any kind of technical problem, only in the state of Zulia with a small one, "he said.
The nation gradually resumes its daily life after the cybernetic attack perpetrated on the Automated Control System of the Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in the Guri Dam, in the state of Bolívar.
In that sense, the owner indicated that the metro system in the capital worked without complications as well as the country's metropolitan mass transport and rail services.
Rodriguez also informed that next Monday, March 18, academic and school activities will resume at all levels in the national territory.
The decision responds to the need to give time to the educational units to recondition their facilities and thus receive the best spaces for teachers and schoolchildren. (PL)
