Germany Recovers Antique Boat

Photo: Cadenagramonte.Berlin, Apr 13.- The State Office for the Preservation of Monuments of Lindau, southern Germany, confirmed the recovery of a boat with more than 3.000 years old.
According to a statement published by the Institution, the boat with almost 6-meter long was recovered from the bottom of Constanza Lake.
The specialists pointed out the boat is going to be part of the Archeological State Collection of Munich to continue the study of the finding.
'This canoe is the oldest boat ever discovered in the region,' the researcher of the Center, Dorothee Ott, remarked.
A diver found the drifting object which is from the Bronze Age, at about 170 meters away from the lake shore, which is surrounded by Germany, Austria and Switzerland. (Cadenagramonte)
