Photo: GranmaSANTA CLARA.–Just like January 6, 1959, when he entered Santa Clara victorious with the Caravan of Liberty; and September 30, 1996 in Che's plaza with thousands of others; Fidel was present again here yesterday, November 30, with the people of Villa Clara, who reaffirmed their commitment to his ideas on the first anniversary of his death.
The impressive tribute began with a procession from Vidal Park to the Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex and concluded with a cultural vigil with the participation of the province's notable artists. (Granma)
