Cuban president denounces the tightening of the blockade during the pandemic

Havana, Apr 22 - The United States (USA), in the midst of the pandemic, brutally intensified the blockade against Cuba, said today the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz- Canel Bermúdez.
The Cuban president added that that nation financed and supported dangerous acts of violence and disrespect for the law to promote social and political instability in our country.
"The United States, in the midst of the pandemic, brutally intensified the blockade of #Cuba and financed and supported dangerous acts of violence and disrespect for the law to promote social and political instability in our country," he tweeted.
In another communication on this Social Network, Díaz- Canel denounced the interference in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and pointed out that the United Nations Charter and the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace must be respected.
The legitimacy of a government emanates from the express and sovereign will of its people, not from the recognition of foreign powers, therefore, the government chaired by constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros must be respected, the president wrote on Twitter. (Cadenagramonte)
