Sierra de Cubitas, Jan 29.- Children from Sonrisas del Futuro Kindergarten, in this northern territory celebrated the 165th anniversary of José Martí’s birthday, once again it was a special moment to pay homage to the man of The Golden Age.
The adorable babies’ deep devotion to the most universal of Cubans was expressed through melodies, dances and short stories.
Some anecdotes about Marti’s great admiration to those who really know how to love were narrated by the educators in a simple and attractive way.
Lizandra Cruz Montero and Andy Martínez Velazco like the rest of the classmates enjoyed various cultural and recreational activities in which they were the leading participants.
Respect and love demonstration towards the Apostle of the independence of Cuba was extended to all the localities and schools. The March of the Torches gave the accustomed lucidity to the tribute offered to the deepest and most universal Cuban thinker.
José Martí was born on January 28, 1853 on Paula Street in Havana. Since childhood he always expressed a great sensibility to the cause of Cuba. He was also known as the mastermind of the main actions carried out by Cubans aimed at achieving the freedom and independence of the Homeland.
