Call in Sierra de Cubitas to hold the 21st National Labor Congress

Sierra de Cubitas, Jan 30.- Tuabaquey mini-industry in Sierra de Cubitas was the place selected for the reading of the call to the next Central Union of Cuban Workers’ Congress (CTC) due to its economic and social results.
Out of the 220 existing workplaces in the municipality, this one was chosen because of its workers´ effort in food production; something well recognized despite the adversities that arose after the hurricane Irma.
Yaquelín Ramírez Cuadrado, general secretary of the CTC in Sierra de Cubitas, highlighted the importance of the exchange with the working masses aimed at deepening the weaknesses and strengths as important aspects to be discussed objectively and creatively to achieve sustainable results.
She also said that the current process is good enough to go over the commitment to the legacy of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, who recognized the workers as a revolutionary class able to give and do whatever in order to defend the Cuban Revolution.
Unity, Commitment and Victory is the saying through which the organic process towards the 21 Congress of the CTC, set for January 2019, begins in Sierra de Cubitas as part of the leading role of the working class in the strengthening of union tasks. (Photos: Author)
