Sierra de Cubitas, 29 abr.- Various actions are carried out in this northern territory to avoid the loss of large volumes of water in key sectors of the economy, such as agriculture.
As recently pointed out, in analysis with sector authorities, it is essential to look for alternatives with farmers, such as the irrigation of crops with tank cars, with the objective of achieving an efficient use of central pivot irrigation machines, whose presence grows in these lands.
Likewise, the farmers are prepared in order to achieve an efficient system of control and management of the so-called blue gold in each cooperative unit, to mitigate the negative effects of climate change and drought.
As it was known, the authorities of the territory prioritize the allocation of resources and inputs of agricultural programs that most impact the economy of the municipality, to respond the problems arising from the drought with the rational and efficient use of available water.
