Santiago de Chile, October 25.- Smoke and tear gas filled the air in Santiago as demonstrators clashed with riot police on during yet another day of protests – sparked by ballooning public transportation fees – after a promise of reform failed to end the unrest.
Tehran, October 24.- Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami says U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat of a military attack against Tehran is only a bluff to cover Washington’s mortification for its failures. And he warned the U.S. about making the mistake of engaging Iran, pointing to a rapid response.
Caracas, October 23.- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has called on the countries of the world to stand against what he called a coup in Bolivia and to show solidarity with President Evo Morales. "Let's raise the solidarity flags and we will mobilize against the coup in Bolivia and Latin America, against fascism as expressed at the moment," Maduro said.
