German farmers roll out hundreds of tractors in cities to protest new eco-rules

Bonn, October 23.- Disgruntled farmers blocked traffic by driving tractors through German cities in protest of new environmental regulations aimed at protecting birds and insects.
La Paz, October 22.- In Bolivia, right-wing protesters have launched numerous violent attacks across the country as preliminary results indicated that incumbent President Evo Morales was on course for a first round victory. Attacks included the burning down of vote counting centers and assaulting Indigenous supporters of Morales.
London, October 21.- Julian Assange has been told there can be no delay in his U.S. extradition case, as he appeared in court in London. The WikiLeaks founder’s legal team requested more time to submit evidence and claimed the charges against him were politically motivated at a case management hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court.
